Oracle Fusion Vertex Integration Consultant

Core Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations and support.

- 3+ years of experience with Vertex Tax Engine (Vertex O Series, Vertex Cloud, or Vertex Accelerator).

- Hands-on experience integrating Vertex with Oracle Fusion Financials, Order Management, Procurement, and Accounts Payable/Receivable.

- Experience in tax automation, indirect tax compliance, Sales & Use Tax, VAT, and GST processes.

- Technical Skills

- Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex tax determination rules.

- Experience with:

- Oracle Fusion Financials

- Accounts Payable (AP)

- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Procurement

- Order Management

- General Ledger (GL)

- Configure Vertex tax jurisdictions, rates, exemptions, and tax rules.

- Knowledge of:

- REST/SOAP Web Services

- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

- FBDI/HDL file integrations





- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

- Troubleshoot tax calculation and transaction processing issues between Oracle Fusion and Vertex.

- Responsibilities

- Lead Vertex and Oracle Fusion integration design and implementation.

- Configure tax determination and compliance processes.

- Support end-to-end testing (SIT, UAT, Regression Testing).

- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and IT teams to ensure accurate tax calculations and reporting.

- Support upgrades, patches, and current tax jurisdictions.

- Prepare functional and technical design documentation.

- Analyze and resolve production issues.
