Role: Oracle Essbase Developer

Location: Hyderabad

Experience Required: 7+ years

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- 7+ years of experience in developing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- 3+ years of experience developing and supporting Essbase reporting solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or assist in resolving complex technical problems.
- Strong focus on assuring quality, security, and compliance requirements in Essbase reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, debug, and document solutions using Agile development practices.
- Manage the full life-cycle of multidimensional financial reporting and analytical application projects: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, rollout, documentation, and maintenance.
- Work extensively with Essbase OLAP platform (ASO/BSO): outline design, load rules, MaxL scripts, partitions, calc scripts, security, tuning,



optimization, and Smart View Add-In for Excel.
- Develop Star schema designs and relational database models in Oracle or SQL Server.
- Source hierarchy and fact data from file-based and relational sources, including Metadata Management Systems like DRM.
- Automate Essbase database outline builds, data loads, and aggregations using UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
- Build automation processes with CA Autosys.
- Collaborate with financial services teams to support industry-specific requirements.

Nice-to-Have Skills ✔ Python (Automation / Data Validation) ✔ BPA Automate ✔ Oracle EPM – Planning / Financial Reporting / ODI ✔ CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control & release management ✔ Experience in Financial Services / Banking domain ✔ Knowledge of SOX controls, audit processes & regulatory compliance
