Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Engineer with a solid background in Data Modelling, Data Analytics, and PL/SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years in relevant roles. The position is based in Pune or Chennai and offers a fixed budget of 30 LPA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Database Design and Development:
- Design and develop complex database systems and solutions using Oracle.

- Create and maintain data models, including physical and logical data models.

- Develop and optimize PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

- Data Modelling:

- Design data models to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.

- Ensure data models are scalable, maintainable, and performant.

- Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.

- Data Analytics:

- Implement data analysis strategies to support decision-making processes.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Oracle Analytics tools.

- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data quality and integrity.

- Performance Tuning and Optimization:





- Monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization and resource management.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and provide support for production environments.

- Implement best practices for database security, backup, and recovery.

- Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, business analysts, and IT operations.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Document database designs, configurations, and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with Oracle Database (version 12c and above).

- Proficiency in PL/SQL programming, including developing complex scripts, procedures, and functions.

- Strong expertise in data modelling, including ER diagrams and normalization.

- Experience with Oracle Analytics tools and data visualization techniques.

- Analytical Skills:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

- Experience:

- Minimum 7 years of overall experience with at least 5 years in a relevant Oracle Database Engineering role.

- Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of Oracle databases.
