We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Developer with a strong background in data engineering and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing database solutions to support business processes. Experience in ETL tools and familiarity with data warehouse concepts is highly desirable, along with knowledge of Big Data technologies and a background in finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Build and optimize complex database queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages using Oracle PL/SQL to support various business applications and reporting requirements.
- Data Engineering: Apply data engineering principles to improve data access and quality across the organization.
- ETL Development: Use ETL tools to build and manage data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Database Optimization: Optimize and troubleshoot Oracle database performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
- Data Integration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources into cohesive data models.
- Support Data Warehouse: Contribute to data warehouse architecture, including data sourcing, staging, transformations, and integration.
- Big Data & Financial Insights: Utilize knowledge in Big Data and financial domains to design solutions that drive actionable insights.
Required Skills
- Oracle Database Development: Proven experience in Oracle Database with expertise in PL/SQL.
- Data Engineering: Solid understanding of data engineering principles to improve data flows and data quality.
- ETL Tools: Experience with any ETL tool, such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
- Data Warehousing Concepts: Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar platforms.
- Financial Domain Experience: Previous experience in the financial industry is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 9 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Development and data engineering.
