Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

Shift Timings: Rotational Shifts (24/7)

Work Mode : 5 Days Work from Office (SODC Environment)

Job Summary: The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical DB servers, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the applications. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The person should have experience in leading the team.

Role and Responsibilities:

- 4+ Years experience in database administration, operations and production support
- Datapump ( Export and Import) and RMAN Database restores
- Patching activity ( DB and client )
- Database Migration and Database upgrade
- Excellent knowledge in resolving performance tuning issues, Generating & reviewing AWR reports.
- Experience in Monitoring, back up/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/de-provisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, Patching, migration, replication and upgrades
- Cohesity backups
- Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
- Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, Confluence
- Ability to document solutions and train operational teams
- Experience with Amazon Web Services , DevOps is a plus




- Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Adaptable, team player, get-it-done personality.
- Experience with automation, Ansible, Python
- Ability to organize and plan work independently.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
- Experience in financial domain
- Should be able to work in SODC environment in 24/7 rotational shifts.
