Role Description The Oracle CCB Developer will work on designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CCB) solutions to support utility business processes and customer service operations for a client based in the SULTANATE OF OMAN. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and customizing Oracle CCB modules, building and optimizing data models and database components, and developing reports and integrations aligned with functional requirements. The role involves working closely with business analysts and project teams to gather requirements, perform technical analysis, and translate business needs into robust software solutions.

The developer will also participate in code reviews, unit and integration testing, performance tuning, and production support activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Oracle CC&B; Expertise:

- Deep knowledge of CC&B; modules including Billing, Payments, Credit & Collections, Case Management, Adjustments, Field Activities, and User Access
- Advanced understanding of the V-model architecture (Person, Account, Service Agreement, Premise, Service Point)




- Proficiency in batch processing, algorithms, database queries, and PL/SQL
- BI Publisher Report design and creation
- Web services integration and SMS configuration

Industry Knowledge:

- Extensive experience implementing CC&B; across utility sectors: Electricity, Water, Wastewater, and Gas
- Strong understanding of utility business processes and operations
- Experience with government and private utility organizations

Project Management Skills:

- Requirements gathering and solution presentation
- Functional and technical design documentation
- UAT (User Acceptance Testing) leadership and execution
