Company Description NURA – Sustained Health with Active-AI Screening is a collaborative initiative between Fujifilm Healthcare and Dr Kutty’s Healthcare, combining advanced AI-enabled imaging with expert clinical care. The organization focuses on regular health screening programs to detect cancers and lifestyle-related diseases in their early stages. By identifying conditions in asymptomatic individuals, NURA aims to reduce health risks and support more effective treatment outcomes.

NURA operates up-to-date screening centers across India, including locations in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Calicut, and Chennai. The team is committed to accessible, proactive healthcare that empowers people to manage their long-term well-being.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based at the NURA center in Kozhikode (Calicut). The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, visual acuity assessment, and screening for ocular diseases, using advanced diagnostic equipment and AI-supported imaging tools. Daily responsibilities include counseling clients on eye health, prescribing corrective lenses, coordinating with ophthalmologists and other specialists, and documenting findings in electronic health records.

The role also involves educating visitors on the benefits of regular screening, supporting community health initiatives, and ensuring high-quality,



patient-centered care in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Valid Optometry degree or diploma from an accredited institution, with appropriate registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Demonstrated skills in comprehensive eye examinations, refraction, binocular vision assessment, and basic contact lens fitting.
- Experience interpreting imaging and diagnostic tests (e.g., fundus photography, OCT, visual field screening) and identifying common ocular conditions.
- Robust patient interaction skills, including clear communication, counseling, and the ability to explain clinical findings and treatment options in accessible language.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment with physicians, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Comfort with digital health tools, electronic medical records, and technology-supported screening workflows; prior exposure to AI-enabled diagnostics is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and commitment to maintaining high levels of clinical accuracy, safety, and confidentiality.
- Prior experience in preventive health screening or hospital/clinic settings is preferred; fluency in local languages in addition to English is beneficial.
