Role & responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Operations team.

- Allocate work among team members and monitor productivity.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training.

- Ensure adequate backup and succession planning within the team.

- Promote teamwork and maintain high service standards.

- Oversee placement documentation, slips, cover notes, endorsements, and policy issuance.

- Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of placement data in broking systems.

- Review and approve operational documents before submission to markets.

- Ensure timely processing of facultative transactions.

- Ensure claims notifications are submitted to reinsurers promptly.

- Monitor claims follow-up and recovery collections.

- Maintain claims registers and reporting records.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

- Minimum 5 years of insurance experience.

- Qualified insurance qualifications FIII is an added advantage.
