Role Description The Operations Senior Team Manager – AR (Hospital Billing) is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end hospital billing accounts receivable operations, including managing teams handling claim follow-up, denials resolution, and payment posting activities. The manager will monitor AR performance metrics, identify trends, and implement process improvements to optimize collections and reduce aging.

Daily responsibilities include coordinating workloads, reviewing complex cases, ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also involves collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders, addressing escalations,



providing performance feedback, and driving continuous training and development for team members to ensure high-quality customer service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret AR data, track key performance indicators, and drive process improvements.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to coordinate with teams, interact with clients, and manage escalations clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess Account Management capabilities to oversee hospital billing portfolios, maintain client relationships, and ensure service-level adherence.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to coach team members, conduct process and compliance trainings, and support ongoing skill development.
- Relevant experience in hospital billing, AR management, and US healthcare revenue cycle operations, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Proficiency with AR and billing systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools; familiarity with payer rules and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and maintain flexible hours as needed to support US-based clients and operational requirements.
- 1-2 years of proven experience as a Team Lead role.
