Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for Kaer’s cooling plants and services. This role includes managing operational performance, monitoring system efficiency, and ensuring service delivery meets contractual and safety standards.
The Operations
Manager coordinates with technical and commercial teams, manages vendors and contractors, and oversees preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The role also involves analyzing operational data, implementing process improvements, supporting sustainability and energy-saving initiatives,
and preparing regular reports for internal stakeholders and customers.

Manager is expected to lead and mentor operations staff, maintain compliance with local regulations, and support smooth facility and project handovers.
Qualifications
- Strong operations management experience, including facility or plant operations, process optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Experience in maintenance planning, vendor management, and on-site coordination for technical services or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, building services, or related mechanical/electrical engineering domains is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis, reporting, and using operational metrics to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including team supervision, workload prioritization, and fostering a safe, high-performance work culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in energy services, sustainable infrastructure, or building operations in India or the region is a plus.
