Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.

- Inspect, maintain and repair Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results.
- Install, maintain, and repair support infrastructure for labs including UPS systems, RO Water systems, gas banks with plumbed in gas lines, effluent storage / effluent treatment plants, Compressor , Vacuum pumps and chemical storage .
- Manage Building Management System, Fire Safety and Emergency Response equipment and protocol for the R&D; facility, in compliance with local regulations.
- Manage physical security of the R&D; premises, including access control and material movement control.
- Facilitate infrastructure and utilities support for R&D; labs and equipment installation as required from time to time.
- Coordinate with local authorities for obtaining and maintaining compliance with all local, state, and National regulations for the R&D; facility.
- Plan, build and implement means for disposal of hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste and effluents in compliance with local regulations.
- Manage supplier contracts for facility and infrastructure maintenance related activities,



ensuring cost effective and timely completion of jobs while in compliance with Baxter’s internal policies.
- Manage janitorial and housekeeping services to keep the R&D; premises clean and hygienic, including periodic pest control activities.
- Manage office administration activities including ordering and maintaining adequate stock of office supplies, managing cafeteria operations and employee transport services.
- Coordinate closely with site EHS leader to ensure safety at workplace and compliance to OSHA regulations.
- Identify opportunities and drive programs focusing on operational efficiency and sustainability initiatives for the site.
- Prepare annual facility maintenance and upkeep budget and track expenses, publish monthly reports.
- Liaise with the landlord / property management team and Government dept for any facility related requirements.
- Coordinate facility infrastructure renovation / augmentation / recent build outs from planning to execution, meeting needs of the stakeholders. Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing.
- Responsible for maintaining the Critical spares inventory to ensure smooth operations.
