Job Summary

Lead and direct all manufacturing operations at the Ranjangaon plant to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity (SQDCP) objectives. Drive operational excellence, capacity utilization, customer satisfaction, workforce effectiveness, continuous improvement, and digital transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance with EHS, quality, regulatory, and Eaton Business System requirements. Partner with the Plant Manager and leadership team to deliver sustainable business growth and operational performance.

Responsibilities

- Lead all manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost targets.

- Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Eaton Business System deployment.

- Ensure compliance with EHS standards, statutory requirements, and company policies to maintain a safe workplace.

- Deliver customer commitments through effective production planning, capacity management, inventory control, and resource optimization.

- Lead productivity, cost reduction, waste elimination, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant profitability and competitiveness.

- Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, and Materials teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction

- Drive operational reviews and performance management using key metrics including OEE, RTPPM, productivity, delivery, quality, and cost.

- Develop organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership coaching.





- Lead digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives to enhance operational visibility, decision-making, and manufacturing performance.

- Manage operating budgets, capital investments, and manufacturing resources to achieve financial and operational objectives.

- Lead root-cause problem solving and corrective actions to address operational disruptions, customer concerns, quality issues, and productivity losses.

- Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team and contribute to strategic business initiatives, growth plans, operational transformation, and Smart Factory deployment.

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering; Masters Degree preferred.

- 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in automotive or industrial operations.

Skills

- Robust expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement.

- Proven experience leading large manufacturing teams and managing plant performance.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, cost management, productivity improvement, and capital investments.

- Experience with digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Smart Factory initiatives, RTPPM, OEE, and data-driven decision making.

- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Knowledge of labor relations, employee engagement, talent development, and statutory compliance.
