We are looking for a responsible and organised Operations Executive – Garment Manufacturing to coordinate day-to-day factory operations and ensure smooth movement of work across production, stock, sampling, packing and dispatch .

The candidate should have strong follow-up skills, practical garment-industry knowledge and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams until work is completed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Production Coordination

• Follow up production from cutting to packing

- Coordinate cutting, stitching, checking, finishing and packing activities
- Track daily production status against planned quantities
- Identify production delays and follow up for timely completion
- Coordinate priorities based on order requirements
- Ensure production teams have the materials and information required to proceed
- Maintain production trackers and provide regular updates to management

2. Order & Work Follow-up

- Track orders from initial production planning through completion
- Follow up with internal teams and job-work units
- Ensure pending work is continuously monitored
- Identify bottlenecks and coordinate solutions
- Escalate important delays or issues to management
- Ensure committed timelines are followed

3. Sampling & Product Development

- Follow up samples for new products, styles and developments
- Coordinate sample requirements with production teams
- Track sample status and ensure timely completion
- Maintain records of approved samples and specifications
- Coordinate corrections or modifications before bulk production
- Ensure approved requirements are communicated clearly to production

4. Stock & Inventory Coordination

- Monitor fabric, trims, elastic, labels, packing materials and finished-goods stock
- Coordinate material requirements with production




- Maintain basic stock and movement records
- Follow up on material shortages
- Assist with physical stock verification
- Coordinate stock between production, warehouse and dispatch teams
- Report mismatches or shortages promptly

5. Packing & Dispatch Coordination

- Follow up finished-goods availability for dispatch
- Coordinate checking, folding and packing requirements
- Verify order quantities before dispatch
- Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams
- Follow up bulk, offline and e-commerce shipment requirements
- Ensure dispatch deadlines are not missed due to production delays

6. Quality & Process Follow-up

- Coordinate with quality teams regarding defects and rework
- Ensure rejected or altered pieces are followed up
- Monitor recurring production issues
- Help ensure approved product specifications are maintained
- Follow up until quality-related issues are closed

7. Vendor & Job-Work Coordination

- Coordinate with outside stitching units, printers, embroidery units or other vendors when required
- Follow up outsourced work and delivery schedules
- Maintain records of material issued and work received
- Ensure vendor commitments are followed
- Report delays, shortages or quality problems

8. Team & Department Coordination

- Coordinate between production, warehouse, dispatch, e-commerce and management
- Follow up assigned responsibilities across teams
- Communicate priorities clearly
- Maintain proper records of pending and completed tasks
- Ensure information does not get lost between departments
- Support management with daily operational requirements

REPORTING & TRACKING The Operations Executive should regularly maintain and update:
- Production status




- Order-wise pending quantities
- Sampling status
- Material requirements
- Finished stock
- Dispatch requirements
- Vendor / job-work status
- Delayed tasks and reasons
- Priority orders
- Daily and weekly operational updates

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• 2–7 years of relevant experience in garments / textile manufacturing

- Good understanding of garment production processes
- Knowledge of cutting, stitching, checking, finishing and packing
- Robust follow-up and coordination skills
- Good knowledge of production and stock tracking
- Experience handling multiple orders simultaneously
- Good communication and people-handling skills
- Basic Excel / Google Sheets knowledge
- Ability to maintain records and operational trackers
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with management and production teams
- Experience in Tirupur garment manufacturing will be an advantage

IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the complete operational flow:

Order → Material → Sampling → Production → Quality → Stock → Packing → Dispatch → Closure The person should be able to continuously follow up, identify what is pending, coordinate with the right team and ensure work gets completed without unnecessary delays.

COMPENSATION

? ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Final salary will depend on:

- Garment-industry experience
- Production knowledge
- Coordination capability
- Stock-management experience
- Vendor / job-work handling
- Reporting skills
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day operations
