Homeie is building the consumer company for where you live.

The first product is the smartest way to rent a home in India. You tell Homeie what matters once, and our AI understands your taste, searches and coordinates across a fragmented offline market, helps you see only the homes actually worth considering, and gets the transaction done, including ₹0 security deposit upfront. What takes weeks today should eventually feel like one really good afternoon.

Renting is only where we enter the relationship. Where you live quietly shapes a huge part of your life: how you commute, where you spend, what neighbourhood you become part of, how much you pay every month, and eventually where you choose to buy a home. We think there is an entirely new consumer company to build around that relationship.

We’ve raised $750k from a stealth fund, whose backers include Abstract Ventures, Bain Capital and Long Journey. We are still a very small team, which means the people joining now will have an absurd amount of influence over what Homeie becomes.

What will you do:

This is for someone who wants to spend the next few months building cool stuff, learning insanely rapid, and eventually starting something of their own.

You might spend Monday figuring out how we get 100 renters from one office park, Tuesday meeting brokers and understanding why good inventory never reaches the internet, Wednesday helping fix a broken product flow, Thursday putting together a weird on-ground activation,



and Friday discovering something about renters that changes what we build.

You could work on things like:

- finding unconventional ways to acquire renters
- meeting brokers, landlords, societies and partners on the ground
- helping run renter journeys end to end
- figuring out where the best housing supply actually comes from
- launching experiments across offices, communities, Reddit, partnerships or the real world
- noticing patterns in renter behaviour and turning them into product ideas

Who we're looking for:

I don’t care much about pedigree or whether you have had a “proper” internship before.

I care if you have done things. Maybe you built something people actually used, ran a college fest, sold something online, started a community, organised events, grew a page, tried a startup, or even became the person everyone called when something actually needed to get done.

You’ll probably enjoy this if you:

- have unusually high agency
- are curious about almost everything
- like speaking to people and figuring out how they think
- are comfortable being on the ground rather than spending the whole day behind a laptop
- enjoy early-stage chaos enough to find it fun

Why do this:

If you know you eventually want to build your own company, there are very few useful ways to prepare for it other than actually being close to one while it is being built.

You’ll see product decisions before there is a product team, growth before there is a growth playbook, operations before there are systems, hiring while the team is tiny, customers before the answers are obvious, and a market before we fully understand it.
