Job Purpose To lead and manage end-to-end Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Collection & Transportation operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, fleet utilization, manpower productivity, contractual compliance, safety, customer satisfaction, and overall project profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee day-to-day MSW Collection & Transportation operations.
- Ensure effective planning and deployment of vehicles, manpower, routes, and resources.
- Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, breakdowns, maintenance coordination, and route adherence.
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, cost optimization, and service quality.
- Ensure timely and efficient collection and transportation of municipal solid waste as per project requirements.
- Manage manpower planning, deployment, attendance, productivity, and performance.
- Monitor KPIs, operational reports, MIS, and project performance against defined targets.
- Coordinate with Municipal Authorities, clients, Project Management teams, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, statutory regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices across operations.
- Identify operational challenges and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage customer/client complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor project expenses, operational costs, and resource utilization.




- Work closely with Maintenance, HR, Finance, Purchase & Stores teams for smooth project operations.
- Prepare and review operational MIS, performance reports, and management updates.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve project objectives.
- Support contract management, audits, inspections, and client review meetings.
- Ensure continuous improvement in productivity, service quality, and operational performance.

Qualification
- Graduate / Postgraduate in any relevant discipline.
- Engineering or Management qualification will be an added advantage.

Desired Experience & Skills
- 10–15+ years of experience in Municipal Solid Waste Management / Collection & Transportation / Urban Waste Management .
- Strong experience in handling large-scale C&T; operations and field teams.
- Hands-on experience in fleet and manpower management.
- Strong understanding of MSW operations, route planning, vehicle deployment, and productivity monitoring.
- Experience in managing municipal/client relationships.
- Solid leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage operations under strict timelines and contractual KPIs.
- Willingness to work in field/site-based environments.
