Margin Operations is responsible for minimizing Deutsche Bank's counterparty credit risk on its collateralized derivatives portfolio. We aggregate the Bank's exposure across trading activity globally, administer the margin terms dictated in bilateral ISDA and CSA (Credit Support Annex) Agreements, and facilitate the exchange of permissible collateral (cash or securities) with our clients or central clearing counterparties. The team also manages Margin Disputes, regulatory Portfolio Reconciliation, and Data Control flowing into the margining systems for APAC, EMEA, and US regions.

Core Functional Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for external clients on valuation and collateral-related matters, ensuring timely resolution of queries, disputes, and escalations.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with Front Office, Trading, Sales, Product Control, Middle Office, Risk, and Operations teams globally.

Manage complex valuation and collateral disputes through effective stakeholder engagement and root cause analysis.

Partner with regional and global teams to drive consistency in processes, controls, and operating standards.

Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and analyze key operational metrics, KPIs,



and KRIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Lead process re-engineering, automation, and transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control effectiveness.

Contribute to strategic and tactical global projects, including platform enhancements, regulatory initiatives, and operational excellence programs.

Provide timely updates to senior management on key risks, escalations, and business-critical issues.

Required Technical & Business Expertise

Strong understanding of valuation, collateral management, margin processes, and dispute management across OTC derivatives and cleared products.

Hands-on experience with AcadiaSoft and TriResolve.

Knowledge of collateral optimization, reconciliation processes, and exception management.

Experience utilizing analytical and reporting tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, controls, audit requirements, and governance practices.
