Job Summary

This role owns the backend of ZUMI's operations - making sure product moves smoothly from the co-packer to every channel we sell in. You'll handle stock checks and inventory control, coordinate dispatches to our various sales avenues, ensure order fulfilment runs on time, and look for ways to keep costs lean as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inward & Material Receipt

- Receive and inspect raw material and packaging inward against POs; verify quantity, quality, and documentation
- Flag shortages, damages, or delays immediately - before they hold up production
- Maintain accurate inward records (GRNs) and keep stock systems updated in real time

2. Production & Co-Packer Coordination

- Align with R&D;, production, and the co-packer on schedules
- Reconcile co-packer stock statements against our own records; chase discrepancies to closure
- Flag risks early and prevent disruptions

3. Warehouse & Inventory Control

- Manage stock movement to Hyderabad & other city warehouses
- Maintain batch-wise tracking (FIFO, reconciliation)
- Run periodic stock counts/audits and reconcile against system records
- Ensure accurate, real-time stock visibility

4. Channel Stock Tracking, Replenishment & Dispatch

- Track stock movement across every channel (Contemporary Trade, Q-commerce, Institutional, D2C)
- Monitor sell-in vs sell-through trends and plan replenishments based on velocity and demand
- Prevent expiries, stock-outs, and overstocking; maintain clean, channel-wise inventory dashboards
- Ensure timely PO receipt and dispatch across all channels, coordinating with Sales for accurate execution




- Ensure each channel's dispatch requirements (labeling, invoicing, packing norms) are met without fail
- Minimize returns and fulfilment errors

5. Logistics & Cost Optimization

- Manage and negotiate logistics partners
- Track cost per dispatch and improve efficiency
- Monitor SLAs and delivery performance
- Continuously reduce logistics cost per unit as volumes scale

6. Accounts Receivable Coordination

- Track channel-wise outstanding payments
- Work with Finance to close AR gaps
- Resolve invoice discrepancies quickly

7. Go-to-Market Operations

- Drive operational readiness for new launches, channel expansions, and market rollouts
- Ensure seamless product, inventory, and marketing material availability across channels
- Own backend coordination for onboarding new retailers, platforms, and institutional partners

8. Build Systems That Scale

- Create SOPs where needed
- Build clean, reliable trackers
- Improve processes continuously

Required Skills / Abilities

- Fresher to 1 year of experience in FMCG / supply chain / operations
- Freshers with strong internships in FMCG / logistics are encouraged to apply
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets capability
- Highly detail-oriented and structured
- Strong follow-up and vendor coordination skills
- Comfortable in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
- High ownership mindset
- Willing to be on the ground - warehouse visits, co-packer site visits, and market checks when needed
