Operations Executive – Purchase & Export Logistics

- Location: Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai

Key Responsibilities

- Source and coordinate with suppliers for purchase requirements.

- Collect quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with vendors.

- Raise and follow up on Purchase Orders and material delivery.

- Maintain supplier records and develop alternate vendors.

- Coordinate quality checks, samples, packing, and material readiness.

- Coordinate with transporters, CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.

- Handle container placement, loading, stuffing, and shipment tracking.

- Follow up on vessel schedules, cut-off dates, and shipment timelines.

- Coordinate export documentation with accounts and documentation teams.

- Monitor shipments and ensure timely dispatch.

- Identify and resolve purchase, quality,



and logistics issues.

- Visit suppliers, warehouses, and shipment locations when required.

Requirements

- Graduate/Diploma with 1–4 years of relevant experience.

- Experience in Purchase, Procurement, Logistics, Export, or Trading preferred.

- Agro commodities/Food/FMCG/Export experience will be an advantage.

- Valuable communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.

- Knowledge of MS Excel, email, and documentation.

- Basic knowledge of export logistics and shipment procedures.

- Willingness to travel as required.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹10,853.91 - ₹31,719.83 per month
