Role Description The Operations Executive (Food Industry) at Vayir Foods is a full time, in office role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production and operational activities, ensuring that processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Key tasks include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with procurement and logistics, tracking production schedules, and supporting quality checks to maintain product consistency.

The Operations

Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues,



optimize workflows, and implement process improvements. The role also involves preparing basic reports, analyzing operational data, and communicating updates to management to support decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee daily food production and process efficiency.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret operational data, identify trends, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene practices, and regulatory standards in the food industry is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Food Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, food processing, or operations-focused roles is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and use basic productivity and reporting tools.
