About the rolenWe are hiring an Operations Engineer to support and improve customer delivery operations across CarbonFarm’s project portfolio.

nThis is a hands-on operational and technical role focused on optimising delivery reliably, accurately, and at scale .

n

nOur work combines remote sensing, agricultural data, and machine learning. To deliver high-quality outputs to customers, we need strong operational execution across project setup, data collection coordination, quality checks, and delivery support .

n

nYou will work closely with our Head of Operations , Operations Manager, and the Engineering team , as well as the broader tech team, to coordinate inputs, verify data quality, support delivery workflows, and reduce operational bottlenecks across multiple projects in parallel.

n

nThis role is best suited to someone detail-oriented, comfortable working with technical tools, and able to follow structured processes with high accuracy.

What you’ll don

n
- Support day-to-day delivery operations across multiple customer projects
n
- Coordinate data collection and external dependencies, including data from IoT sensors
n
- Verify data quality and flag issues early
n
- Ensure operational workflows move forward on time and in the correct sequence
n
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to resolve operational blockers
n
- Track delivery progress and help maintain delivery predictability across projects
n
- Follow and improve repeatable operational processes
n
- Use AI tools and lightweight automation to analyse data, QA outputs, and remove manual steps from delivery workflows
n
- Maintain high-quality delivery standards through careful execution and clear escalation when needed
n

What we’re looking forn

- Bachelor’s,



Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, operations, data, or a related field
n
- 1–3 years of experience in an operations, delivery, analytical, or technical support role
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute repetitive or process-heavy work with high accuracy
n
- Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort working at volume without losing accuracy
n
- Able to work with messy or incomplete data from varied sources and make sense of it
n
- Fluent with AI tools as part of daily work: using them to analyse and cross-check datasets, draft scripts and queries, and speed up repetitive operational tasks
n
- Ability to follow complex workflows and manage several tasks or projects in parallel
n
- Strong organisational skills and comfort coordinating across teams and timezones
n
- Good judgment on when to resolve issues independently and when to escalate
n
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
n
- English fluency
n
- Based in India, with the ability to work closely with the wider team across timezones
n

- Experience with image/data QA workflows and familiarity with geospatial tools (Google Earth, QGIS, etc.)
n
- Familiarity with IoT data or time-series data, agricultural data, or geospatial data workflows
n
- Experience performing QA checks on datasets or operational outputs

- Exposure to process design,



workflow optimisation, or service operations

- Comfort using lightweight scripting, SQL, or internal tooling to improve manual workflows
n
- Experience building AI-assisted workflows or agents that materially reduced manual effort

- Basic scripting/automation mindset
