We are looking for a skilled and responsible Operation Theatre Technician to support surgical procedures and ensure safe, efficient, and well-coordinated OT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the Operation Theatre, surgical instruments, equipment, and required supplies before procedures.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and handling of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Maintain OT readiness, cleanliness, and adherence to infection prevention protocols.
- Assist with surgical instrument and material counts before, during, and after procedures.
- Handle and maintain OT equipment appropriately and report equipment issues promptly.
- Ensure availability of required surgical consumables, implants, and emergency supplies.
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, transfer, and safe movement as required.
- Follow biomedical waste management and infection control protocols.
- Maintain OT registers, records, checklists, and procedure-related documentation.
- Coordinate with CSSD, Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, and other departments for smooth OT functioning.
- Participate in emergency procedures and provide support during on-call requirements.
- Follow hospital policies,



safety protocols, and applicable NABH standards.

Eligibility
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Freshers may apply.
- Previous experience in a hospital OT will be preferred.

- Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical workplace.
