Intern – Operations

Role Overview

As an Intern – Operations, you'll get hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of Cityflo's mobility network. You’ll work closely with the Route Operations team to support bus deployments, track live operations, coordinate with drivers and vendors, and help resolve on-ground operational challenges.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is curious about how transportation operations work, and wants to build practical experience in operations, logistics, coordination, and technology-driven mobility solutions.

What You'll Do

Support Daily Route Operations

- Assist the Route Operations team in coordinating with drivers and operators for timely bus deployment.
- Support route-wise tracking of bus availability for planned trips.
- Help maintain operational schedules and deployment records.
- Assist the team in identifying and communicating potential operational gaps.

Monitor Live Operations
- Assist in tracking buses and monitoring live route operations.
- Escalate delays, breakdowns, diversions, and other operational issues to the concerned team members.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support quick resolution of operational challenges.
- Help ensure buses operate as per planned schedules.

Driver & Vendor Coordination
- Assist in communicating with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and operational requirements.
- Support the team during driver onboarding and route familiarisation activities.
- Coordinate with fleet vendors for vehicle availability and readiness.
- Help maintain regular communication and follow-ups with drivers and vendors.

Support Operational Excellence
- Assist in checking basic safety, cleanliness, and readiness standards before bus deployment.
- Maintain accurate operational data, trackers, and reports.




- Support the team in identifying recurring operational issues and process improvement opportunities.
- Work with technology and AI-powered tools used for monitoring, reporting, and improving operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth daily operations.

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and work in a quick-paced operational environment.
- Ability to stay organised and follow up on multiple tasks.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with technology and learning AI-powered tools.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
