We are looking for passionate and knowledgeable Physics Teachers to join our growing team and teach students from Grades 9 to 12.

Job Details

- Job Title: Online Physics Teacher (Grades 9–12)
- Organization: Star Mentorship
- Job Type: Part-Time / Freelance
- Work Mode: Remote (Work From Home)
- Time: 4pm to 9pm
- Compensation: ₹200–₹300 per hour, based on subject expertise and experience
- Working Hours: Versatile, based on student requirements and mutually agreed schedules
- Experience: Prior online teaching experience preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular online Physics classes for students in Grades 9–12.
- Deliver structured lessons aligned with the student's curriculum, academic level, and learning requirements.
- Explain complex Physics concepts, laws, and principles using simple, practical, and student-friendly methods.
- Teach theoretical concepts, numerical problem-solving, and real-world applications of Physics.
- Conduct interactive, two-way classes that encourage student participation, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding.
- Use diagrams, simulations, digital whiteboards, and other visual tools to enhance learning.
- Identify students' learning gaps and provide personalized academic support.
- Assign homework, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, class updates, and student progress reports.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding class schedules, student progress, and feedback.
- Ensure punctuality, consistency, and professional conduct in all scheduled classes.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physics or a closely related subject is preferred.




- Candidates with a relevant Bachelor's degree and strong subject expertise may also apply.
- Excellent command of Physics concepts and numerical problem-solving for Grades 9–12.
- Strong understanding of mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves, optics, and other relevant topics.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them effectively.
- Prior experience teaching CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, GCSE, IB, A-Level, or other international curricula will be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and a student-centered teaching approach.

Essential Skills
- Strong online teaching and virtual classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in online teaching platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and online educational tools.
- Ability to use visual demonstrations, simulations, and interactive resources to explain Physics concepts.
- Ability to conduct engaging, interactive, and two-way learning sessions.
- Strong lesson planning, time management, and student assessment skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods according to students' learning needs.
- Professional communication and coordination skills.
- A responsible, punctual, and self-motivated approach to work.

Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

Candidates must have the following:

- A reliable laptop or computer suitable for online teaching.
- A tablet with stylus support or another suitable digital writing setup for solving numerical problems and explaining diagrams.
- Stable, high-speed Wi-Fi or internet connectivity.
- Reliable power backup to ensure uninterrupted classes.




- A good-quality headset or microphone for clear communication.
- A quiet, professional teaching environment with minimal background noise.
- A working camera, which must remain switched on during classes.
