Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Online Math Teachers to conduct engaging and interactive 1:1 classes for students in the US time zone. Teachers must explain mathematical concepts clearly, adapt lessons to individual learning needs, and maintain effective communication with students and parents.
Working Hours
- US Shift: 3:00 AM–7:00 AM IST
- A minimum availability of three hours within this time slot is mandatory.
- Candidates must be comfortable working consistently during early-morning hours.
Compensation
- ₹320 per hour for regular classes
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1:1 online Math classes for students in Grades 1–10.
- Explain concepts clearly using digital whiteboards and interactive teaching methods.
- Follow the curriculum and teaching guidelines provided by Debe Learning.
- Adapt the teaching approach according to each student’s learning pace and requirements.
- Assign and review practice work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain student engagement and build a positive learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with parents, understand their expectations, and provide appropriate feedback on student progress.
- Maintain punctuality, consistency, and accurate class records.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum one year of online teaching experience with an EdTech company.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics for Grades 1–10.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
- Prior experience conducting 1:1 online classes.
- A laptop or desktop, a reliable high-speed internet connection, and a functional camera and microphone.
- A pen tablet is mandatory for conducting classes.
- A quiet and qualified teaching environment.
- Immediate availability to join.
