Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Onboarding Lead - Cybersecurity to manage and coordinate the onboarding of customers across multiple cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong technical troubleshooting skills, customer-facing experience, and hands-on knowledge of security technologies including SIEM, EDR/XDR, Email Security, Vulnerability Management, DLP, and other enterprise security platforms.

The Onboarding Lead will work closely with customers, internal SOC teams, security engineers, project managers, and vendors to ensure successful deployment, configuration, integration, testing, and transition of security solutions into ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end onboarding of recent customers into cybersecurity and SOC services.
- Coordinate onboarding activities with customers, internal technical teams, SOC analysts, and security vendors.
- Understand customer infrastructure, security architecture, network topology, and business requirements.
- Deploy, configure, integrate, and validate security solutions according to customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to SIEM, EDR/XDR, Email Security, DLP, Vulnerability Management, Network Security, and other cybersecurity solutions.
- Troubleshoot agent deployment, communication, connectivity, permissions, firewall, proxy, DNS, API, authentication, and integration-related issues.
- Verify successful log ingestion and event collection within SIEM platforms.
- Troubleshoot missing logs, parsing issues, collector connectivity, event-source configuration, and integration failures.




- Assist with EDR agent installation, policy configuration, exclusions, upgrades, health checks, and troubleshooting.
- Support Email Security onboarding including mail-flow configuration, Microsoft 365 integrations, DNS records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, quarantine, and policy validation.
- Conduct health checks and validate that deployed security solutions are functioning as expected.
- Perform testing before transitioning customers into production/SOC monitoring.
- Conduct regular onboarding/status calls with customers and provide clear project updates.
- Track onboarding dependencies, risks, technical blockers, and pending customer actions.
- Coordinate with product vendors and raise/escalate technical support cases when required.
- Ensure onboarding activities are completed according to agreed timelines and scope.
- Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions with SOC analysts and operations teams before project handover.
- Ensure appropriate monitoring, alerting, escalation procedures, and customer communication processes are established.
- Support change management and customer-approved production changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes, documentation, automation,



and operational efficiency.

Technical Skills Candidates should have working knowledge and troubleshooting experience in multiple cybersecurity technologies, including:
- SIEM: Microsoft Sentinel, Rapid7 InsightIDR, Splunk, FortiSIEM, Elastic, or similar platforms.
- EDR/XDR: SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, Bitdefender, or similar solutions.
- Email Security: Check Point Harmony Email Collaboration / Avanan, Proofpoint, Mimecast, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Barracuda, or similar solutions.
- Data Loss Prevention: Forcepoint DLP, Microsoft Purview, or similar technologies.
- Vulnerability Management: Tenable/Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7 InsightVM, or similar platforms.
- Basic knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies, and network security technologies.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, firewall rules, ports, and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Syslog, Windows Event Logs, APIs, REST integrations, and security connectors.
- Understanding of security policies, alerting, threat detection, and incident-response workflows.
