Role & responsibilities

- Presenting: Anchor news videos, walkarounds, first drives, comparison teasers, explainers and shorts in Hindi for the Autocar Hindi YouTube channel

- Scripting: Co-write or adapt scripts from the editorial team into natural, conversational Hindi suited to a video audience

- Field reporting: Cover launches, auto expos, factory visits and OEM events as the on-ground face for the Hindi channel

- Research: Read up on every car, bike, brand and trend covered, including spec sheets, pricing, segment context and competitor positioning

- Channel building: Contribute ideas for new formats, series and short-form content that can grow the Hindi audience

- Cross-platform: Appear in Reels, Shorts and other social cuts as required

Preferred candidate profile

- Ability to review both cars and bikes

- Fluent, confident, broadcast-quality Hindi: transparent diction, natural delivery, comfortable on camera

- Genuine passion for cars and bikes; up-to-date with launches, segments and the broader Indian auto industry

- Strong on-camera presence, screen confidence and energy

- Ability to write and rewrite scripts in Hindi suited to YouTube

- Make short form content for social media
