Role Description The Omn sport advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. In this role, the advisor supports customers across multiple sports categories, helping them choose the right products based on their needs, level of experience, and budget. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and engaging customers, explaining product features and benefits, managing stock and merchandising, and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.

The advisor collaborates with teammates to support in-store events, product demonstrations, and community initiatives that promote sport and wellbeing.



The role also involves using in-store digital tools, handling basic sales operations, and providing feedback to help improve products and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to actively listen, ask questions, and provide transparent, supportive guidance.
- Genuine passion for sport and physical activity, with interest in learning about multiple sports categories and sharing that knowledge with others.
- Basic sales, retail, or hospitality experience, including comfort with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and meeting team goals.
- Ability to work on-site, stand for extended periods, manage physical tasks such as stocking and merchandising, and maintain a secure store environment.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work in a diverse team, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for managing inventory, displays, and product information accurately.
- Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and grow within the company; prior experience in retail sports or fitness is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sports, fitness, business, or retail management is beneficial.
