Offshore Piping Engineer Location: Sutrapada, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities

- Review project specifications, drawings, method statements, and installation procedures for offshore HDPE pipelines.
- Supervise HDPE pipe fabrication, butt fusion welding, and quality inspections.
- Coordinate marine activities related to pipeline assembly, float-out, towing, positioning, and sinking operations.
- Monitor offshore installation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and HSE standards.
- Conduct site surveys and verify pipeline alignment, seabed profiles, and installation tolerances.
- Coordinate with marine contractors, survey teams, divers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all welding and testing activities meet applicable standards and project specifications.
- Prepare daily progress reports, installation records, and as-built documentation.
- Identify and resolve engineering and construction issues during offshore execution.




- Support hydrotesting, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.

Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical engineering.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore pipeline or marine construction projects.
- Proven experience in HDPE pipeline installation for seawater intake, outfall, desalination, wastewater, or similar projects.
- Solid understanding of HDPE fusion welding processes and quality requirements.
- Knowledge of offshore construction methods, marine operations, and survey techniques.

Duration : 6 Months (Immediate deployment) Facilities : Accommodation and everyday travel to site shall be provided by Fichtner India.
