Key Responsibilities - Operate and monitor Oil Wharf facilities as per HPCL procedures and the directions of the HPCL Supervisor/Officer.

- Take field rounds on both jetties and the pipe track; monitor pressure, oil leaks and other critical parameters, and report abnormalities.
- Monitor pressure on the shipping line during tanker loading/discharge and report to the Boarding Officer.
- Coordinate tanker berthing: arrange hydro-tested hoses and gaskets, supervise hose connection and disconnection at the ship manifold, and coordinate oil boom removal.
- Give jetty status feedback to the section head, DCS, RSM and marine coordinator at 0600 / 1500 / 2100 hrs.
- Empty the slop pit at 0600 and 1800 hrs daily.
- Perform gas tests for hot work, confined space and excavation permits, and follow the work permit system.
- Carry out line sampling as per schedule and supervise activities such as positive isolation.
- Maintain logbooks and monitoring log sheets, prepare shift TOB notes, and handle shift handover/takeover.
- Prepare weekly reports on pressure gauges, PSV/TSV, cargo hoses and bitumen BCLF line EHT status.
- Maintain housekeeping and respond immediately to emergencies and abnormalities. Eligibility (any one of the following) - B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects),



OR - 3-year AICTE-approved Diploma in Chemical Engineering with at least 5 years' experience, OR - AICTE-approved B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with at least 1 year of experience in chemical, petrochemical, petroleum or natural gas plants.
- Preference: experience in oil movement and storage.
- Age: not more than 64 years as of 30 April 2026; physically fit.
- Languages: English and Hindi required; Telugu preferred. Work Conditions - 24x7 rotational shifts (3 shifts of 8 hours); 48 hours per week.
- Selection is subject to CV vetting and interview by HPCL.
- One-week induction/safety training before taking charge, and HPCL-VR safety standards apply.
- Medical fitness certificate required before deployment.
