About the RoleWe are looking for a QC Engineer with hands-on experience in machining and quality inspection, particularly in CNC, VMC and HMC environments. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of machining processes, mechanical drawings, GD&T;, inspection instruments and CMM operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct quality inspections of machined components manufactured through CNC, VMC and HMC processes.
- Perform in-process and final inspections as per drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T;.
- Operate standard measuring and inspection instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial gauges and other precision instruments.
- Perform or support CMM programming and inspection/operation.
- Understand CNC Turning, VMC and HMC machining operations and basic programming concepts.
- Identify dimensional, surface and machining-related defects.
- Investigate the root cause of machining defects, including tool deflection, chatter, thermal expansion and process-related variations.




- Coordinate with the production/machining team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records and documentation.
- Ensure components meet required customer specifications and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework and process variation.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC / VMC / HMC machining processes.
- Good understanding of CNC Turning, VMC and HMC operations and programming.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Practical knowledge of GD&T;.
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of CMM operation/programming.
- Good understanding of machining defects and their root causes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work closely with production and quality teams.
