- Understanding and testing English grammar and linguistic tags.
- Testing and validation of lexicon creation for the language selected.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and willingness to learn computational platforms.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in English and in any one of the above-mentioned Indian languages, including typing.
- Ability to create, test, and validate linguistic datasets and lexicons.
Preferred candidate profile
- expert communication skills in English and at least one of these languages.( Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, or Mizo ).
- UG/PG degree in any language discipline (Linguistics / Applied Linguistics preferred), with a minimum of 60% marks, provided that any one of the following languages has been studied as a subject as part of the candidate's undergraduate or postgraduate academic curriculum
