Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced OBIEE Developer with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) development. The candidate should have strong expertise in designing and developing BI solutions, along with experience in project development, requirement analysis, and leading technical activities/team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain OBIEE/Oracle BI solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain OBIEE Repository (RPD), including Physical, Business Model & Mapping, and Presentation layers.
- Create and optimize Reports, Dashboards, Prompts, Filters, and Analysis using OBIEE.
- Develop complex SQL queries and work with Oracle databases and data warehouse environments.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Participate in the complete project development lifecycle, from requirement gathering through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Perform OBIEE performance tuning and troubleshoot report, dashboard, and repository-related issues.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, DBAs, and other technical teams.
- Conduct code/design reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
- Take ownership of assigned modules/workstreams and coordinate deliverables with project stakeholders.
- Support estimation, task planning, status tracking, and technical discussions with project teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.




- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and deployment-related documents.

Mandatory Skills:

- 6–8 years of experience in OBIEE development.
- Robust hands-on experience with OBIEE / Oracle BI.
- Good experience in RPD development – Physical, BMM, and Presentation layers.
- Strong experience in developing Reports, Dashboards, Analyses, Prompts, and Filters.
- Strong SQL skills with good knowledge of Oracle Database.
- Experience working with Data Warehouse / Dimensional Modeling concepts.
- Experience in OBIEE administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of the complete BI development lifecycle.
- Experience in project development and delivery.
- Prior lead exposure, including mentoring developers, task allocation, technical coordination, or module ownership.

Good to Have:

- Experience with Oracle Analytics / Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
- Exposure to Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with Oracle BI Publisher.
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud / OCI.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

Leadership / Lead Exposure: The candidate should have demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:

- Leading a small development team or technical workstream.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
- Reviewing technical designs and development deliverables.
- Coordinating with onsite/offshore teams.
- Managing module-level delivery and timelines.
- Participating in client/stakeholder discussions.
- Supporting effort estimation and task planning.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
