Located in the Kolkata Salt Lake area, Nabajatak continues to lead efforts in child development and neuro-developmental disorder support.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Nutritionist, located in the Kolkata Salt Lake area.

The candidate will be responsible for providing individualized nutrition assessment, diet planning, nutrition counselling /follow-up, with a special focus on children and their developmental needs. She would be also responsible to support our Nutrition Internship program for college students and visit / coordinate with various colleges.

Immediate joinee / freshers needed. Take-home pay between 13-15k per month, based on skills and experience, with PF / ESI. Please apply if the salary expectations match.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed nutritional assessments, including dietary history and growth assessment.
- Prepare individualized diet plans according to the child’s specific needs.




- Provide nutrition counselling and practical dietary guidance to parents and caregivers.
- Monitor growth, dietary intake, nutritional status, and progress during follow-up.
- Guide parents regarding age-appropriate nutrition, healthy eating habits, meal planning, and appropriate feeding practices.
- Maintain proper clinical documentation, assessment reports, diet charts, and follow-up records.
- Participate in case discussions and coordinate with paediatricians, developmental paediatricians, therapists, psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver our nutrition internship programs, workshops, and coordinating actively with various colleges, including visits to colleges of Kolkata.

Qualification:

M.Sc. in Food & Nutrition or M.Sc. in any specialization/area of Food & Nutrition.

- Candidates with experience or interest in Paediatric Nutrition, Child Development, or Special Needs Nutrition.

B.Sc candidates with relevant qualifications may also apply.
