Summary

Role description

We are seeking an experienced L3 Engineer with strong expertise in Nutanix and Red Hat OpenShift platforms to provide advanced technical support, solution design, platform optimization, and escalation management.

The resource will be part of the Center of Excellence (CoE) team, supporting enterprise customers through solutioning, architecture recommendations, and critical issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Nutanix Platform

- Provide L3 support for Nutanix infrastructure, including AOS, AHV, Prism Central, and Prism Element.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, performance, storage, and virtualization issues.
- Perform cluster upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, and platform optimization.
- Design and recommend Nutanix solutions based on customer requirements.
- Support disaster recovery, backup integration, and business continuity solutions.
- Collaborate with OEM/vendor support teams for critical incidents and root cause analysis. OpenShift &
- Containerization
- Provide L3 support for Red Hat OpenShift environments.
- Troubleshoot container platform, Kubernetes, networking, storage, and application deployment issues.
- Manage OpenShift cluster installation, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle operations.
- Support CI/CD integrations, container security, and platform automation initiatives.
- Design scalable and highly available OpenShift architectures.
- Assist application teams in containerization and onboarding workloads onto OpenShift. Solutioning &

- Participate in solution design workshops and architecture reviews.
- Develop implementation guidelines, best practices, and operational runbooks.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend preventive measures.
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Support pre-sales and customer discussions when required.

Required

Skills

- Strong expertise in Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism Central, and Prism Element.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
- Knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with networking concepts, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Experience in automation tools such as Ansible, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
