Essential duties and responsibilities

- Liaison with the authority for the removal of medical equipment emitting radiations Medicine Department.

- Develop and to direct quality control programs for equipment and procedures that equipment works properly.

- Responsible for statutory compliances related to AERB or other such regulatory authority.

- Perform periodic safety audit in the department.

- Have an access of hospital software related to work

- Train the concern staff within their scope of services

- Perform any other responsibilities given by higher authorities.

- Liaison with authorities in dose requirement for purchasing of radioactive material

- Manage proper storage of radio Isotopes.

- Maintain the record of TLD readers for radiation exposure

- Perform safety tests periodically as per hospital and AERB guidelines.



Liaison with regulatory authorities for radiation safety standards for the department.

Working conditions

- Will work in different Shifts of 8.5 hours a day.

- May have to be on call in case of any emergency.

- Prolonged monitoring hours.

Skills Abilities

- Should have very positive assisting skill.

- Should have basic knowledge of computers.

- Should be polite good in communication while handling patient.

- Considerable individual initiative, reasoning skill, and sound judgment.
