About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Client of SCHS. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and APIs that power our innovative applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, data scientists, and product managers, to create scalable and secure solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to building reliable data pipelines, integrating AI/ML models, and ensuring the security and performance of our systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI/ML use cases such as data extraction, document processing, recommendations, and predictive analytics, all within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and relevant experience in software development. A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in backend development, particularly with Node.js. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript,



along with a solid understanding of Node.js fundamentals, asynchronous programming, and backend architecture, is essential.

Experience developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, as well as working with PostgreSQL databases, is highly desirable. Knowledge of authentication, authorization, data security, and best coding practices is necessary. Familiarity with software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms will be advantageous. Additionally, exposure to AI/ML concepts, data engineering, or data processing will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js to support various applications and platforms.

Build scalable, secure, and efficient REST and GraphQL APIs to facilitate seamless integration with frontend and third-party systems.

Develop reusable, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and indexes to ensure high performance and data integrity.

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs and services, ensuring smooth functionality and user experience.

Participate in system architecture design, code reviews, and technical discussions to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.

Implement security measures, including authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms, to safeguard sensitive information.

Work on AI/ML use cases such as data extraction, document processing,



recommendations, and predictive insights, integrating relevant models and services.

Build and maintain data pipelines for processing structured and unstructured data efficiently.

Integrate AI services, large language models (LLMs), and machine learning models into business workflows to enhance decision-making and automation.

Contribute to cloud-based deployments, DevOps activities, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for streamlined operations.

Optionally, collaborate with frontend teams and contribute to frontend development using React.js to ensure cohesive system integration.
