About the Role

We are seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to monitor and support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of systems. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in AWS, Linux, and SQL, with automation skills being a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor system health, alerts, dashboards, and logs using standard monitoring tools.
- Perform first-level and second-level troubleshooting on incidents.
- Execute runbooks for known issues and escalate when needed.
- Perform basic Linux troubleshooting (logs, services, disk/CPU/memory checks).
- Run and interpret basic SQL queries for data validation and issue diagnosis.
- Work with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) for routine checks and troubleshooting.
- Document incident details, resolution steps, and maintain knowledge base articles.
- Communicate timely updates to stakeholders and ensure proper shift handover.
- Collaborate with L2/L3 teams for deeper analysis and RCA contributions.
- (Optional) Build scripts to automate repetitive checks or reporting.

Required Skills With 2 4 years of experience.





Technical Skills

- Linux Basics: File system, permissions, services, process monitoring (top/df/free), log analysis.
- AWS Basics: EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch (metrics/alarms), IAM fundamentals.
- SQL Basics: SELECT queries, joins, filters, basic troubleshooting.
- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch/Grafana/OpsGenie/etc.).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, load balancing).

Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
- Clear communication and incident reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during high-priority incidents.
- Disciplined with documentation and handovers.

Valuable to Have –
- Automation/Scripting:
- Bash, Python, PowerShell (any scripting experience is a plus).
- Experience with CI/CD concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.

Shift Requirements
- Comfortable with 247 rotational shifts.
