Responsible for overseeing all hospital operations during the night shift, including patient care, staff management, and responding to emergencies, ensuring smooth functioning of the facility while maintaining patient safety throughout the night hours. Key Responsibilities:

- Patient Care Oversight:
- Monitor patient conditions and vital signs across different wards, identifying and addressing any critical changes promptly.
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure timely medication administration, treatment plans, and patient comfort.
- Review patient charts and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to patient complaints and concerns, escalating issues to appropriate healthcare providers when necessary.
- Staff Management:
- Allocate nursing staff across different departments based on patient acuity and workload.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff during the night shift, addressing any concerns or clinical challenges.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Manage staff breaks and ensure adequate coverage throughout the night.
- Emergency Response:
- Coordinate response to medical emergencies, including code blue situations, by activating appropriate teams and managing the crisis effectively.




- Ensure timely communication with attending physicians and other relevant healthcare professionals during emergencies.
- Initiate necessary resuscitative measures as per established protocols.
- Operational Management:
- Conduct regular rounds throughout the hospital to assess patient status, staff performance, and facility conditions.
- Monitor and manage inventory of critical supplies and medications.
- Identify and report any facility maintenance issues or safety hazards to relevant departments.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all incidents and patient status changes.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain open communication with the day shift leadership team, providing updates on overnight patient status and any critical issues.
- Collaborate with other departments like pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology to ensure smooth patient care delivery throughout the night.
- Liaise with security personnel to address any security concerns or incidents.

Required Qualifications:

Any Degree

1-3 years of hospital experience
