About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Next.js Developer to join our Digital Engineering team in Gurgaon. The role is suited to a hands-on engineer who can build secure, scalable, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences for enterprise clients. You will collaborate with product owners, UX designers, architects, backend engineers, quality engineers, and client stakeholders across the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade web applications using Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript.
- Build reusable, responsive, accessible, and well-documented UI components aligned with approved design systems.
- Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), routing, middleware, and API integration patterns.
- Integrate applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication services, content platforms, and enterprise backend systems.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals, page-load performance, search-engine discoverability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, modular, testable code and contribute to coding standards, peer reviews, technical documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and client teams to clarify requirements, estimate work, identify risks, and deliver agreed outcomes.




- Troubleshoot defects and production issues using structured root-cause analysis, monitoring, and logging practices.
- Contribute to build, release, and deployment processes through Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work effectively in Agile delivery teams and provide clear progress updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

- 4-6 years of professional frontend development experience, including strong hands-on experience with Next.js and React.js.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6 ) and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of React fundamentals, hooks, component composition, state management, rendering behaviour, and performance optimization.
- Practical experience with Next.js App Router or Pages Router, SSR, SSG, ISR, dynamic routing, middleware, and server/client components.
- Strong knowledge of semantic HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern styling frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or equivalent.
- Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL services and handling authentication, authorization, validation, error states, and asynchronous data flows.
- Experience with state-management approaches such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of unit and component testing using Jest and React Testing Library, or similar tools.
- Proficiency with Git, pull-request workflows, code reviews, package management, and CI/CD concepts.
- Understanding of web security, accessibility standards, SEO principles, and browser-development tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have

- Experience integrating Next.js applications with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in a headless architecture.
- Hands-on experience consuming AEM Content Fragments through GraphQL APIs, including content modelling, query integration, caching, preview, and publishing workflows.
- Understanding of headless CMS patterns, content delivery, localization, personalization,



and authoring considerations.
- Experience with Node.js, API routes, serverless functions, or backend-for-frontend patterns.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform and modern containerized deployment environments.
- Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright.
- Knowledge of micro-frontend architecture, design systems, observability, and enterprise-grade performance monitoring.
- Experience working in consulting, professional services, or large-scale enterprise delivery environments.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent relevant professional experience and recognized technical certifications may also be considered.

Location Requirement

This role is based in Gurgaon, Haryana. Candidates should currently be located in Gurgaon/NCR or be willing to relocate before joining. Remote applications from candidates who are unable to work from the Gurgaon office will not be considered.
