Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance, connectivity, and availability.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, internet, Wi-Fi, VPN, and hardware-related issues.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, access points, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
- Provide technical support to employees for network and system-related issues.
- Identify and resolve network failures and connectivity problems within minimum downtime.
- Manage IP addresses, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and basic network configurations.
- Assist with network security, firewall configuration, access control, and security monitoring.
- Maintain proper documentation of network devices, configurations, IP addresses, and troubleshooting activities.
- Perform regular network checks and preventive maintenance.
- Assist in setting up networks for new employees, systems, offices, and projects.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and third-party vendors when required.
- Monitor and troubleshoot VPN and remote-access connectivity.
- Support server and cloud connectivity where required.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or the appropriate technical team.
- Follow company IT policies, security procedures, and backup practices.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN.




- Knowledge of routers, switches, Wi-Fi, access points, and firewalls.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for network and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with Windows and basic Linux networking commands.
- Understanding of IP addressing and subnetting.
- Knowledge of network security fundamentals.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or a related field.
- CCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience with Cisco, MikroTik, TP-Link, Fortinet, or similar networking equipment is an advantage.
