About The Role

Worldwide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead / Subject Matter Expert (SME) Network Engineer for a remote, long-term contract position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex network solutions within a dynamic environment. As a Lead / SME Network Engineer, you will be responsible for guiding technical teams, designing and deploying advanced network infrastructure, and ensuring seamless integration and operational support of network solutions.

Your expertise will be crucial in leading transformational initiatives, maintaining compliance, and providing strategic technical guidance to both internal stakeholders and external partners.





Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, and leading complex network solutions within regulated industries or large enterprise environments. Proven experience as a Lead Engineer on large-scale programs, with the ability to oversee technical teams and communicate effectively with leadership, is essential.

Certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise, FortiGate Professional, or F5 LTM/GTM at Certified Technical Specialist level are highly advantageous. A strong understanding of multiple network technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage workload proactively are key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Act as a Lead or SME within the Complex Delivery team, providing expert guidance on network engineering and architecture standards.
- Design, build, and deploy scalable and secure network infrastructure solutions aligned with business needs.
- Lead end-to-end project execution, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Develop detailed low-level designs and supporting documentation, ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines.




- Coordinate with global support teams to facilitate smooth transition of solutions into operational support.
- Maintain compliance with governance, change management, and risk management policies across all network disciplines.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors to achieve project objectives, providing regular updates and escalating issues as necessary.
- Contribute to the development of engineering standards and best practices, fostering continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
