Role Description This full-time, on-site Network Engineer role is based in Mumbai and focuses on ensuring the stability, performance, and security of Mswipe’s network infrastructure.

The Network

Engineer will design, implement, and maintain network architectures supporting payment and financial solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related hardware and software. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues, and optimizing configurations to support high availability and scalability. The role involves implementing and enforcing network security controls,



collaborating with cross-functional teams on new deployments, and documenting network diagrams, standards, and procedures.

The Network

Engineer will also assist in capacity planning, participate in on-call support as needed, and contribute to continuous improvement of network operations and reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design to plan, build, and optimize complex network infrastructures.
- Hands-on experience in Network Administration and Troubleshooting to manage devices, monitor performance, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of Network Security practices to implement firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and secure configurations.
- Familiarity with payment or financial services environments, or other high-availability, mission-critical systems.
- Proficiency with common networking technologies and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, switching, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (such as NMS, log analysis, and performance dashboards).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in office in Mumbai, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical information clearly.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
