Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in networking and IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and smooth business operations.

The ideal candidate should have good practical knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, access points, and related network devices.
- Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Meraki, UniFi, or similar networking devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, STP, and basic routing protocols.
- Troubleshoot internet connectivity, network latency, packet loss, and other network-related issues.
- Support configuration and troubleshooting of VPN connectivity.
- Assist with firewall configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor network availability and performance and respond to network alerts.
- Handle L1/L2 network incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal teams for network-related issues.




- Perform regular network health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain network diagrams, IP address details, device inventories, configurations, and technical documentation.
- Assist in current office/site network setup, including switches, Wi-Fi access points, cabling, and internet connectivity.
- Escalate complex network issues to senior engineers or vendors when required.
- Follow IT security and network security best practices.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and OSI Model.
- Good knowledge of IPv4, subnetting, DNS, DHCP and NAT.
- Hands-on understanding of LAN, WAN, VLAN and WLAN.
- Knowledge of routing and switching concepts.
- Understanding of protocols such as STP, OSPF, ARP, ICMP and TCP/UDP.
- Experience troubleshooting switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, and internet connectivity.
- Basic understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools such as Ping, Traceroute, NSLookup and Wireshark.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with ticketing and network monitoring tools will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
