About the Role

IIO Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Network Engineer to join our Defence & Aerospace team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure across office, project, customer, and field deployment environments.

The role involves hands-on networking activities and requires the candidate to be comfortable working at field/project sites and customer locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN, and wireless networks .
- Configure and manage VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, and network security .
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, latency, packet loss, and hardware-related issues.
- Perform network installation, configuration, testing, integration, and commissioning at project and customer locations.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity to ensure reliable operations.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols and switching environments.
- Support network integration with servers, communication systems, surveillance systems, and other technical equipment.
- Conduct network testing and validation during system deployment and integration.
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues within defined timelines.
- Maintain network configuration records, diagrams, IP plans, and technical documentation.
- Maintain proper records of network equipment, configurations, and deployment activities.




- Coordinate with internal engineering, project, and operations teams for successful project execution.
- Provide on-site technical support during installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Assist in identifying network security risks and implementing appropriate security measures.
- Support preventive maintenance and periodic health checks of network infrastructure.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for network equipment and connectivity-related issues.
- Prepare technical reports, troubleshooting reports, and deployment documentation.
- Travel to field sites, customer locations, project sites, and other locations across India as required.
- Perform any other technical responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking .
- Hands-on knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, routing, and switching .
- Good knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP models .
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other networking equipment.
- Knowledge of routing and switching concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and network performance issues.
- Understanding of network security fundamentals.




- Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to read and understand network diagrams and technical documentation.
- Valuable understanding of IP addressing and subnetting.

Mandatory Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Network Engineering/Network Infrastructure.
- Valid CCNA certification is mandatory.
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Networking, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively to field/project/customer locations is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently at field locations when required.
