- Must have – Firewalls working knowledge – Fortigate (preferred), Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint – should have hands-on experience.
- Must have – Load balancers working knowledge – Netscaler load balancer – should have hands-on experience.
- Should have knowledge on these protocols - OSPF, BGP, STP, MSTP, VTP, TCP/IP Packet flow.
- Routing & Switching – good to have working knowledge if not at least basic concepts should be clear.
- Valuable to have AWS knowledge, if possible but not mandatory for junior network engineers.
