Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Music Teacher for our Primary Classes who can foster a love for music in young learners. The ideal candidate should be skilled in both vocal and instrumental music and capable of integrating music into the broader educational curriculum, making learning joyful and creative.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach music to students from Grades I to V, focusing on both Indian and Western musical traditions.
- Conduct vocal and instrumental music classes, ensuring active participation.
- Organize and prepare students for school assemblies, annual functions, cultural programs, and inter-school competitions.
- Introduce students to basic music theory, rhythm, pitch, tempo, and straightforward notations.
- Encourage creativity through activities like singing, movement, and playing musical instruments (keyboard, tabla, drums, etc.).
- Maintain a vibrant, inclusive classroom atmosphere and adapt lessons to suit diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with class and subject teachers to integrate music with themes and curriculum topics.
- Maintain records of students’ progress and prepare periodic reports.




- Take responsibility for care and maintenance of musical instruments.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field (B.A. Music / B.Mus / M.Mus preferred).
- Certification in music education or a diploma from a recognized institution is an added advantage.
- Prior experience of 1–3 years in teaching music at the primary school level is preferred.
- Proficiency in vocal music (Indian/Western), and knowledge of basic instruments like harmonium, keyboard, tabla, or guitar.

- Passion for working with children and encouraging creativity.
- Patience and ability to handle young learners with care.
- Confidence in performing and conducting group music sessions.
- Ability to manage and prepare musical programs independently.

Remuneration: As per school norms and experience.
