Job Summary

HL Tech India Private Limited is looking for an experienced MT5 Developer with hands-on expertise in MetaTrader 5 and MQL5 to develop, customize, test, and maintain automated trading solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Expert Advisors (EAs), custom indicators, automated trading strategies, order execution, risk management, and MT5 Strategy Tester. Knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js and Python will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Expert Advisors (EAs) using MQL5.

Develop and customize MT5 indicators, scripts, and trading tools.

Implement automated trading strategies and trading algorithms.

Work on trade execution, order management, Stop Loss, Take Profit, position sizing, and risk-management logic.

Perform backtesting and optimization using the MT5 Strategy Tester.

Analyze and troubleshoot existing MQL5 code and improve performance.

Integrate MT5 with external APIs, databases, or backend systems where required.

Work with backend developers for Node.js/API-based MT5 integrations.

Monitor and resolve issues related to automated trading systems.

Ensure stability, reliability, and performance of trading applications.

Maintain proper documentation of trading logic, integrations, and development changes.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with MQL5.

Good understanding of MetaTrader 5 architecture and functionality.

Experience developing Expert Advisors (EAs).





Experience with custom indicators and scripts.

Knowledge of algorithmic and automated trading.

Understanding of Forex/CFD and financial-market concepts.

Strong knowledge of order types, trade execution, SL/TP, lot sizing, and risk management.

Experience with backtesting, optimization, and debugging in MT5.

Good programming and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Git/version control.

Good to Have

Knowledge of Node.js and REST APIs.

Knowledge of Python, Pandas, and NumPy.

Experience working with WebSockets.

Experience with SQL/databases.

Knowledge of VPS/server deployment.

Experience integrating MT5 with external applications.

MQL4 experience.

Knowledge of quantitative trading or algorithmic trading systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant practical experience in MT5/MQL5 development will be considered strongly.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a developer who has practical MT5/MQL5 development experience, rather than someone with only general programming knowledge.

Candidates should be able to understand an existing trading strategy, convert it into MQL5 logic, develop the required EA/indicator, perform backtesting, identify issues, and optimize the implementation.
