MTS Embedded & Physical AI Systems Architect

Build the system architecture and Agentic AI capabilities for embedded platforms and physical AI, including robotics, autonomous machines, industrial automation, control, and intelligent edge systems. Work across heterogeneous compute, real-time control, platform security, rapid prototyping, firmware, software, verification, functional safety, and hardware bring-up.

Own the system architecture and domain intelligence behind FlexArray's Agentic AI capabilities for embedded platforms and physical AI, translating how experienced architects reason about sensing, perception, real-time control, hardware/software partitioning, platform security, reliability, power, and cost into reusable agent workflows, knowledge bases, tools, and evaluation environments.

You'll develop capabilities for robotics, autonomous machines, industrial automation and control, intelligent edge platforms, and consumer systems — spanning requirements, system partitioning, FPGA/SoC and processor selection, AI inference and acceleration, sensor and actuator integration, RTL, firmware, RTOS/Linux, drivers, middleware, rapid prototyping,



hardware-in-the-loop testing, hardware bring-up, validation, and deployment. Platform security will be a major focus, including hardware roots of trust, secure boot and update, key management, isolation, authenticated debug, threat modeling, and secure lifecycle management, alongside functional safety and design assurance where required for industrial, automotive, and aerospace applications.

You bring a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field; deep experience architecting FPGA, SoC, or processor-based embedded and physical AI systems; and hands-on experience across hardware, firmware, embedded software, verification, prototyping, and lab debug.

Experience with robotics, real-time control, edge AI, platform security, and heterogeneous compute is highly valued, as is the ability to work directly with customers and convert complex system requirements and engineering workflows into validated, scalable Agentic AI capabilities.
