Job Summary

Responsible for managing, maintaining, and organizing patient medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, data entry, record retrieval, confidentiality, and compliance with hospital policies and medical record standards. The role also involves coordinating with clinical and administrative departments to ensure proper documentation and smooth medical records operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and organize patient medical records accurately and systematically.
- Ensure timely collection, verification, scanning, filing and retrieval of medical records.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive medical information.
- Perform accurate data entry and update patient records in the Hospital information system.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff and other departments regarding medical documentation.
- Monitor records for completeness, accuracy and proper documentation.
- Handle requests for medical records in accordance with Hospital policies.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits, accreditation and legal requirements.




- Prepare medical records-related reports and statistics as required.
- Ensure proper storage, retention and disposal of records according to Hospital policy.
- Support the department in maintaining smooth day-to-day medical records operations.

- Qualification: Any degree
- Experience in MRD /Medical Records Department Preferred.
- 5-10 Years of Hospital Experience is Mandatory.
