We are looking for an experienced MPI Inspector to perform Magnetic Particle Inspection on components and welds to identify surface and near-surface discontinuities and ensure compliance with applicable quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MPI testing on welds, castings, forgings, and other ferromagnetic components.
- Set up and operate MPI equipment according to approved procedures.
- Interpret inspection results and identify/report relevant indications or defects.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NDT procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Quality and Production teams regarding inspection findings.
Requirements:
- Relevant MPI/NDT Level II certification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of MPI techniques, equipment, and defect interpretation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and inspection procedures.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, oil & gas, or a related industry preferred.
